Welcome to Swarm Storm

FIRST team 4420 is a first-year team at Torrington High School. The team is comprised of 3 students and 6 mentors. The team was started by the combined effort of a new teacher at Torrington High School and former mentors of team 4055, NRG. 

The Game

This years challenge consists of two alliances with three teams on each alliance. The teams have to control their robots to perform specific tasks. The tasks that must be completed include scoring power cell points getting foam balls into high and low goals. Achieving 29 balls will activate the control panel which the robot will have to spin 3-5 times. Within the last 30 seconds of the 2 and a half minute match the 3 robots have to climb a moving bar called the shield generator and balance while it is swinging.
